Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

Kazap Technologies LTD (“Kazap”, “we”, “Company”) has assessed that the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a low risk to the organisation and its day-to-day business. With continuous updated information from the UK Government, we frequently update our Company Statement. We continue to closely monitor the situation and guidance provided on the following official website: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus and the foreign travel advice:  https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice.

Following the latest advice from the Government, our position, which will be kept under daily review, is as follows:

  • We will continue to keep working from home as we always championed remote work.
  • Our office in London is safe environment within which to work: comprehensive Coronavirus Risk Assessments have been carried out, which are continually re-assessed and updated, and circulated to all staff. We are ensuring our office is safe and healthy place to work in with emphasis on social distancing and hygiene, however in-line with the latest Government advice staff are to work from home if they are able to do so.
  • Our utmost priority has always been, and continues to be, the health and mental wellbeing of all Kazap’s employees and we are mindful of the effect’s lockdown has had on many people. To-date, the previous measures that we put in place have worked extremely well which, in turn, has ensured they have been able to continue to work and provide a continued service to our customers in such unprecedented times. We have always stressed, and will continue to do so, that no-one should come into the office if they are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 or if they live with someone who is showing any symptoms of COVID-19, or if they have been told to self-isolate by the NHS Test & Trace service or the NHS COVID-19 App.
  • We will continue to monitor the situation carefully. The sudden loss of key staff is covered in our Company Risk Register & Mitigation document [an internal document] which considers the risk, probability, impact, priority and details the mitigation(s) in place and the resulting post-mitigation rating. This is reviewed & signed annually, or after any significant impact/disaster should it occur. The sudden loss of key staff could be by sickness or any other reason and is mitigated by having enough competent staff employed in all areas of the business to cover the loss; staff are multi-trained to cover roles; and succession planning is in place.

Kazap does not envisage any impact on our ability to supply software solutions to our customers should any supplier be significantly affected by COVID-19 as we have the flexibility of choice for sourcing products from multiple suppliers and vendors.
