Cookie Policy
Zero cookies, zero tracking, and how to check for yourself.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
The short version
This website sets zero cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not to remember you. Not even the chocolate-chip kind. That is why you never saw a cookie banner.
We are proud to run a cookie-free website. Kazap, and Marcelo personally, are fighters for privacy: we think a website should be able to tell you who we are without following you around the internet afterwards.
What the law says
In the UK, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, require consent before a website stores or reads anything on your device, unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. We store nothing, so there is nothing to consent to.
What we do not use
- Analytics (no Google Analytics, no Cloudflare Web Analytics, nothing)
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Tracking pixels, fingerprinting or session recording
- Social media widgets or embedded videos that track you
- Fonts or scripts loaded from other companies: everything comes from kazap.co.uk itself
- Local storage, session storage or any other way of saving data in your browser
The scripts we do run
Two small scripts, both served from kazap.co.uk: one for smooth scrolling and one for the menu, the cards that turn over and the contact form. Neither stores anything on your device. The contact form only sends what you type, and only when you press Send. Our security policy blocks scripts from anywhere else.
The small print: Cloudflare
Cloudflare protects this site from attacks. In rare cases, if traffic looks suspicious, it may ask your browser to pass a quick check and set one of these strictly necessary security cookies, which are exempt from consent:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells people apart from bots | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Remembers you passed a security check | Set by our security settings (30 minutes by default) |
We cannot see or use what is in them. Cloudflare explains them in its cookie documentation.
Check for yourself
Do not take our word for it. Here is how to see every cookie a site sets, in under a minute:
- Chrome or Edge (Windows, Mac): press F12 (or Cmd+Option+I on a Mac), open the Application tab, then Storage → Cookies → https://kazap.co.uk.
- Firefox: press F12 (or Cmd+Option+I), open the Storage tab, then Cookies → https://kazap.co.uk.
- Safari (Mac): Safari → Settings → Advanced → tick Show features for web developers. Then Develop → Show Web Inspector → Storage → Cookies.
- On a phone: in Chrome for Android, tap the icon left of the address bar → Cookies and site data. On iPhone, go to Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced → Website Data and search for kazap.
You should find an empty list. If you find anything else, tell us at contact@kazap.co.uk and we will fix it, and thank you.
Privacy tips from a privacy nerd
Most sites are not as polite as this one. A few free things that make a real difference:
- Use a browser that blocks trackers by default. Firefox has Enhanced Tracking Protection (try Strict); Safari has Intelligent Tracking Prevention; Brave blocks trackers out of the box.
- Add a content blocker. uBlock Origin is free and open source, and blocks ads and trackers on most browsers.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control. GPC tells websites you do not want your data sold or shared. Brave and Firefox support it; extensions add it elsewhere.
- Block third-party cookies in your browser settings, and clear cookies now and then: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari.
- Use private windows for one-off browsing. They forget cookies when you close them (though your internet provider can still see where you go).
- Say no to cookie banners. "Reject all" is always allowed in the UK, and must be as easy as "Accept".
Other websites
When you follow a link from our site to another one, such as LinkedIn or a provider's policy, that site may set its own cookies. We are not responsible for them, so check their cookie policy.
If this ever changes
If we ever add anything that needs your consent, such as an online booking tool, this page will say so plainly, the date will change, and a proper choice will appear before anything is set.
